I strive to bring an accessible approach to all my material, and always tailor to the audience. A group of undergrad students are very different from a group of foster parents, who are very different from a group of social workers who are very different from a group of educators. And yet, as you can imagine there are universal truths among all of us.

I use a variety of teaching skills such as engaged speaking, small/large group discussion, interactive visual slides/graphics, live ‘experiments’ or practices to put concepts to use in the here-and-now, Q&A, and other creative ways to keep folks curious and engaged in the material. I also love to provide as many resources as possible, which includes a link to my slide deck if applicable.
I have adapted classes//talks for both in-person and virtual delivery. I love what I teach. And I rarely teach the same thing exactly twice!
